Struct String

Source
pub struct String<'encoding, B: BytesLike<'encoding>> {
    pub(crate) len: B::ExternallyTrackedLength,
    pub(crate) bytes: B,
    pub(crate) _encoding: PhantomData<&'encoding ()>,
}
Expand description

A collection of bytes with an associated length.

This avoids defining BytesLike::len which lets us relax the requirement BytesLike knows its length before it has reached its end.

Fields§

§len: B::ExternallyTrackedLength§bytes: B§_encoding: PhantomData<&'encoding ()>

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'encoding, B: BytesLike<'encoding>> String<'encoding, B>

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

If this string is empty.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

The length of this string.

Source

pub fn consume(self) -> B

Consume this into its underlying bytes.
